DAVID MOLUBA - FOUNDER AND CEO OF HEALTH AND SCI TOWN

My mission in starting Health & Sci Town was to build a community of aspiring scientists and healthcare professionals — a network where we can support one another. Our goal is to help sixth formers navigate university and degree apprenticeship applications, and to help university students gain access to internships and career opportunities in science and healthcare.

It took me time to truly find my purpose and drive in creating this community. In 2025, I lost three close family members and spent three months in hospital myself. That period of my life was one of deep vulnerability, but it also opened my eyes to the profound impact that healthcare professionals and scientists have on the world.

Today, society often prioritises what brings wealth over what brings life. But I believe that true purpose lies in contributing to something that helps humanity live longer and healthier lives.

The conditions that took my loved ones were all considered incurable — diagnoses that, once given, meant the end. But I believe that there is always a treatment to every disease — we just haven’t found it yet.

That belief is what drives Health & Sci Town. We are building a community of future world leaders — individuals who will advance science, innovate in healthcare, and create a future where people live longer and better. Together, we aim to help our members build strong personal brands, grow powerful professional networks, and most importantly, make a real difference.
