BREAKING THE BARRIERS FOR PEOPLE FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED BACKGROUNDS
There are a lot of factors which affects, young people from underprivileged backgrounds from reaching the top, financial issues, dangerous environments and an lack of guidance. Health & Sci Town priorities providing resources and mentoring (in the near future) to inspire the youth and give them the resource to develop and do big things.

MEET THE FOUNDER
At just 19 years old, David Moluba set out on a mission to empower young people to break barriers and access opportunities within the science and healthcare sectors. His vision is rooted in creating pathways through entrepreneurship, apprenticeships, university routes, and alternative career options.
Growing up on a council estate in East London, David witnessed firsthand the challenges many young people face — from financial hardship to a lack of guidance and exposure. He saw peers take difficult paths and experienced personal loss along the way. These experiences shaped his determination to create change.
At the ages of 17 and 18, David made a conscious decision to redefine his future. Rejecting limiting circumstances, he began building a strong professional presence on LinkedIn and actively engaged in networking events, particularly within communities such as Young Professionals. However, he identified a significant gap — there were limited accessible opportunities specifically within the science and healthcare space for young people like himself.
Driven by this gap and his passion for personal branding, youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and non-traditional career routes, David founded Health & Sci Town. The initiative is designed to break down barriers and provide young people with the resources, networks, and opportunities needed to enter and thrive in the science and healthcare sectors.
Through Health & Sci Town, David continues to champion a future where access to opportunity is not defined by background, but by ambition and support.
